Whoops I haven't posted in awhile. MY BAD. I haven't really done anything too amazing. I bought Bioshock Infinite and...that's about it? I also got into Adventure Time unknowingly. I thought it was just a dumbass show that CN usually has, but it's actually pretty good and a lot darker than I thought for a kids show. So yup. That's about all I've been doing really fff. Watching that and I finished Puella Madoka Magica the other night and wow my feelings were punched into the sun. Wtf show. It was good, a lot better than most animes out nowadays.

I kinda also deleted my old musebox because I hated that name. xC

Also in terms of RP: Helios actually is getting together with some and this both amuses me and makes me happy. >3> It's about time he tries the whole relationship thing again. I think it'll go nicely. But we shall see. Luceti is a cruel, cruel place.

Soooo I just go done reading this book Scriber by Ben S. Dobson. LET ME TELL YOU MY FEELINGS ABOUT IT.

Basically it's about a man who has been shamed for his acts of the past, and has thus put himself in a self-imposed exile of sorts. Dennon Lark is his name, and at first his character comes off as being a complete jerk ass. But he gets loads better as the story goes on. He also grows and becomes someone better as the story progresses. He's real in his mindset and reactions towards things, and he's pretty much a goddamn scaredy cat. But that's what makes him an intriguing protag. He's not the big damn hero in this book. He's the main character along with a kickass female main character named Bryndine Errynson who despite all social norms is a warrior and works in the army. She and her 20 or so female warriors basically kick major ass the entire book while they follow Dennon around to save their home of Kingsland.

BASICALLY. It's a really awesome book with an awesome female support cast and I recommend everyone give it a read. It's, uh, kinda fast pace too but the plot is intriguing. Albeit it's not the most creative things in the world but the characters make up for it, I assure you.

Anyway I gave the book five stars because I felt myself cheering on all the lovely ladies within the story because all defy the odds of the social norms in place in their land. It's more of a story about honor and preserving ones history than anything else and that makes it a rather interesting read in my opinion. If you like fantasy-ish books I'd give this one a read, it's really quite endearing.

So about that new Angel and Faith comic...

I don't even know what to think guys. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

/pointless post of 2012

I finished the first season of Once Upon a Time. Oh gods I do not need another show to get into that airs on sundays. /sob

It's a lovely show though, for anyone who hasn't seen it. Strong female characters and kickass villains! It repeatedly punched me in my feelings too. Some of the stories and histories were just so sad. Like Rumpelstiltskin's past is really sad and depressing and I kinda love the character but he's absolutely horrible. And then there's Ruby's past which is terrible, and Grumpy's made me sad too. ):

But yeah it's a good show. I kinda like all the characters tbh. Except Regina is a super bitch and needs to learn to get over shit. >__>

I love how there were so many cameos from people in other shows. Like Jimmie Cricket's father being the mayor from Buffy. And I'm pretty sure the blind witch in the Hansel and Gretel episode was Anya's actress. But all the actors and actresses are lovely, and it's just an awesome show which I should have taken up sooner!

The only con is the...admittedly bad visuals at times. The CGI is kinda terrible, and it doesn't even blend well at all, but I can understand why, since ABC isn't a very popular channel. I don't even know what shows it usually airs aside from this. So their budget is probably really shitty. But! Aside from that...everything else is awesome.

Warnings: This is just a Halloween-esque story I got the idea for writing. It's a short multi-chapter, murder/horror/mystery story that hopefully won't be too easy to figure. I haven't really worked with mystery/murder stories before so...if it comes off as being bad, that's because I've never written it. And I don't typically read this kind of genre either. But hopefully I can make it somewhat entertaining~ This story also takes place 10 months after Hunted as well.

So I've been reading the Dresden Files lately. They're pretty good books, aside from Harry being an asshole sometimes. I don't know what it is but at least in the last book and the one I am currently reading he hasn't been too chauvinistic in them. His character is also...mildly annoying at certain things. Knowing he's about to die yet making wise ass remarks. Or trying to protect Murphy (a female character) when he knows she can handle herself. It's pretty apparent in the earlier books, because all he did was describe woman's bodies and how he needed to protect them. And all the woman are pretty much perfectly built in this series. Not that I usually care but >__> it's kinda unrealistic. I think the only woman who has some form of a normal body is Charity Carpenter and she's married.

BUT! Aside from the mixed feelings of how woman are portrayed in these books...they're really fun reads. I think Butcher has gotten better at it and Murphy is a kickass female secondary main character. She shot the shit out of an Incubus vampire lord! Fuck yeah. >:[

But I haven't really been doing much other reading aside from this series. I'm trying to make it to the 13th book before the 14th one comes out in November. I'm on number 7 right now. >__> Did I mention that they're short? Oh and kinda addicting. What I do love about these books is the world building. Oh god the delicious world building is fantastic. There's fae courts and vampire courts and dragons and creepy evil wizards. It's really awesome the world Butcher has created, and the magic usage, while kinda weird and wonky sometimes, is pretty awesome too.

I think if people could put aside the shaky portrayal of woman and Harry's blatant chauvinistic personality in the early books, it's a good series to read. Too bad it's Harry's personality that has a lot of people turning them away. I kinda just roll my eyes and continue reading though. There are very strong woman characters in this series though. And a lot of them are fucking creepy. But, yeah.

Also I made an account for one of the creepy ass villain dudes. NO ONE IS SURPRISED THERE! I'm secretly trying to find a game for him too.

But this is my short little review of what I've read so far! Perhaps once I'm caught up I'll write up another one. Give some details about the books separately. I hear there's a whole lot of shit that goes down in the books soon to come, so I am excited. >3>

I had this awesome as fuck dream last night. I'm not sure what sprung it on, I think the fact I've been reading Harry Dresden a lot might have to do a lot with it. But uh...basically it was about this wizard dude, and I was apparently capable of using magic too. But it focused more on the wizard dude after awhile, I am unsure if it was Helios or Harry Dresden but I'll say it was like...their student or something! So there's this grand gala going on in this weird ass hotel. (Wth is with me and hotels?) But apparently there was a mining operation going on to uncover and make these special one of a kind Mayan gold orb things? The hotel was apparently built on top of it. I remember it was around a gazebo, or a carousel, not sure which. But then shit hit the fan when people where getting ready to celebrate the prom there. Yes, prom, I dunno why it was prom and...someone summoned a demon which started to attack people. It then focused on the wizard, who I'm assuming was there to investigate this underground operation. I think the wizard guy managed to stop the demon long enough to escape, because it was powerful and had red skin, pure black eyes, curled horns, you know the whole shebang.

Other stuff happened, like a scene change to somewhere in new york because apparently the demon was attacking people who knew the wizard dude. So we went to some girl's apartment, she was like a writer or paranormal investigator. And there was a part where her tape recorder played by itself and the only thing you could hear was the demon breathing into it. WHY ARE MY DREAMS SO MESSED UP?! That is totally from Grave Peril I know it, and then I woke up, damn. I hate it when a good dream doesn't get an ending. There was also this police officer who could like talk to dogs? Idk where that came from xD It was random.

But yeah...I had to get it off my chest before the details were gone. Safe to say I liked this dream a lot it was pretty boss. >3>
